A Warning to Bidders on Wemingle.com via GoDaddy
GoDaddy scammed us in the late 2000s, stealing our domain. Since then, it has appeared in GoDaddy auctions twice. Both times, we deployed bots to secure our bid, expecting the process to be fair. Yet, we still lost—because GoDaddy’s own bots failed to extend the auction when a last-second bid was placed, unlike what happens for regular users.
We have held the Wemingle trademark since 2009 and have litigated every unauthorized attempt to use it. If you attempt to profit from our domain, you will face the same legal consequences. We refused to pay a squatter more than 15 years ago, and we won’t pay one now. It’s been amusing to watch people lose money trying to keep our domain from us.
Don’t make the same mistake as the last two bidders. We will not buy it back. We have lawyers, and our domain is a trademarked and copyrighted name.
For those of you wondering, no, we have no bids in the GoDaddy auction. You're not bidding against us.
